Eastern Europe Food trade received opportunities from Belt and Road Initiative

Canton fair (The China Import and Export Fair) is reporting an increase in the number of buyers from Eastern European countries.

Ukraine trade with China food and goods are 90 percent of corn and 95 percent of sunflower oil imports. China was the second-largest export market in Ukraine, reaching US$ 1.026 billion in 2016.

Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Ukraine in China, Viktor Tanasiychuk told that establishing more effective communication between producers and importers should help consumers learn about Ukrainian food. He said is confident about the prospects for the growth of China-Ukraine food trade.

Canton Fair gives a wide range of procurement options and presents chances to find more partners as the amount of product categories and exhibits increase.

The countries within the BRI sphere signed bilateral and multilateral agreements with China, the food market imported by BRI countries partners and it will embrace new development opportunities that are commiserate with its growing national spending power.
