New UK e-commerce helps British companies to export in Eastern Europe

Export Demand Group companies are helping the UK businesses to exports their trade in Central and Eastern Europe, by helping them with a new Uk-based e-commerce site to alert the companies about business opportunities.

The portal that their offer is based on provides various sectors of informations from the Eastern Europe economies, like business opportunities, partnerships request and also relevant legislation that could help the local companies from UK in expanding their business.

“Compared to other emerging markets, Romania has the added advantages of being a EU member state and only three hours away from the U.K.” saied Raymond Breden, executive chairman at the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce.

“There are currently more than 4,000 UK companies operating in Romania. Trade between the two countries topped 3.28 billion Euros in 2016, which is a growth of 11.9% compared to the year before”

Another country UK is currently working with is Poland. An organization of producers, processors of specialty food and drink from different British counties, has joined the UK Trade & Investment team in Warsaw and some Polish businesses to boost the profile and sale of products from the heart of UK to Eastern Europe.

Last year the Minister of Trade and Investment, Ian Livingston, launched British Business Centers in Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovenia.

UK wants by 2020 to expand the export to this region and to introduce more British business to potential buyers.
